My favorite of the 3rd party tools was Flickr Color Pickr. I think this site might come in handy when I'm looking to decorate my house! You can search for pictures that have a specific color theme.
Some of my favorites are:
Red Flash
Eyes
Green Pleats
You have to sign up to view some of the images, and also to upload and share any of your own. Also, you can download images that you like from the website for free!
When I was looking through flickr, I found the color pickr as well. I felt that it was rather useful for looking for photos that would patch a particular color scheme. Plus, some of the images are simply enjoyable to look at.
ReplyDeleteI did not view the color pickr, but it sounds intriguing! It sounds easy to use and I think students would enjoy personlizing their pics.
